Admissions Officer (f/m/d) 

For over 40 years, Webster Vienna Private University (WVPU) has provided its students with an internationally competitive, American-style liberal arts education in the heart of Europe. As part of a global network of campuses based in St. Louis, USA, WVPU offers a student-centered education within the framework of a European research university. We offer accredited programs in our Business and Management, International Relations, Media Communications, and Psychology Departments.

We are looking for an ambitious new team member to join our Admissions unit in the role of:

Admissions Officer (f/m/d)
Full time (40 hours/week) - starting date: asap

The Admissions Officer manages and facilitates the application process and maintains relationships with prospective students from initial inquiry to a final admissions decision, thereby helping maximize conversion rates from recruitment to new student acceptance.

Main responsibilities
• Establish and maintain communication with prospective students regarding relevant programs, services, admissions criteria and requirements
• Responsible for reviewing and evaluating credentials of prospective students
• Communicate official admissions decisions and prepare competed student files
• Conduct campus tours, participate in New Student Orientation sessions
• Regularly update and maintain all relevant database entries for prospective students in the university's customer management system
• Support application process improvements
• Represent WVPU at local and international recruitment events
• Liaise with Webster St. Louis and other international campuses to ensure adherence to admissions policies and coordinate recruitment efforts

• University degree, Bachelor equivalent or equivalent work experience from academic experience
• Minimum of one-year relevant work experience in sales and/or customer service, ideally in an educational institution or multicultural organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), online / cloud-based programs; experience in using CRM platforms is an asset
• Fluent in oral and written English, fluency in the German language is an asset

As required by Austrian federal law we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual gross compensation for this position, which amounts to EUR 31.100,- (basis 40 hours/week); the final salary is depending on your relevant experience and qualifications.
